Eating Books
A wonderful quote from E.M. Forster's, "Aspects of the Novel" > Book have to be read (worse luck, for it takes a long time); it is > the only way of discovering what they contain. A few savage tribes > eat them, but reading is the only method of assimilation revealed to > the west.
I swear, if eating were a faster way to really get a great book inside of you, I would do it. But as the man says, reading well takes time. And it's work too.
